AIDES cannot be understood they don't speak English if at all. Care is extremely poor and the physical therapy does not train handicapped people to maneuver independently healthcare is very poor they do not care about their patients all they want to do is force pain meds on you. And they're worried about your state Medicare benefits. no staff doctor available.
Would never recommend this place it's horrible!

I was a resident of this facility for following leg surgery. I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean. My room was cleaned
daily and linens changed every 2 days. The staff was competent, supportive and pleasant. The management did a great job of keeping my contacts aware of my condition and progress. I was pleased with the whole experience.Thank You

Only about 5 staff members knew their job and did it extremely well. This was my second in-patient time and thank goodness my last. If you want excellent care and treatment pick a different facility.

For our first experience with a rehab/skilled nursing facility, Grapevine Medical Lodge was a great facility. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. The medical staff was thorough in reviewing and handling medications. Physical therapy was very helpful and beneficial. The food wasn’t bad either! The facility helped arrange home health upon discharge. Would not hesitate to recommend or return if needed.

My mother was a resident at Grapevine Medical Lodge for about four months. GML provided around the clock nursing care and a hospice company provided hospice care.

One of the first things I noticed was that the staff at GML dressed mom in clean clothes every day and they encouraged her to get up, visit with other residents, go outside and participate in activities. Mom's room was spacious, clean and she had a nice large window. The staff all knew my mother and would speak very well of her whenever I visited.

I was pleased with the care mom received at Grapevine Medical Lodge. No place is perfect, but the attention and nursing care Mom received was better than I could have given her at home, and I don't believe anywhere else would have done a better job treating her with kindness, gentleness and respect.

Her regular CNA, Johnny was a favorite as he was always willing to help me and her with anything she needed.

Oh yes, this is Marilyn Mcintire and my husband Marty McIntire has spent two different times here at the Grapevine Medical Lodge and it is absolutely a blessing to us and to him for the care he received one comment was he said everybody here is just so happy, he fractured his hip and they brought him back to healthy Lee left here strong happy him. He was never sad here the people that work here are just absolutely outstanding and caring. You know that they care for your loved one and I would recommend Grapevine Medical Lodge to anybody I when people ask me, I sing their praises, I’ve even mentioned it two different doctors how wonderful this place is if they have a patient that needs to have some therapy done and they yeah they just say oh I didn’t know that thank you for letting me know. I’ll pass it on to my patients, so I recommend in Grapevine medical lodge in so many ways, the love, the care, the joy, the laughter it’s all here, and you will not be disappointed And saying good night to your love ones as you leave for the day after a visit because you know that they are in very very good hands. Thank you and thank you from my husband and from me.

Zero stars. The day they finally sent my mom to the ER she died that night. I told them for 3 weeks that she had a UTI. I have emails and pictures to prove their neglect. Her death certificate says "Severe sepsis, onset-within hours, UTI, onset-within days". This could have been prevented. Their care is so poor it's heartbreaking!!! (It has taken me over a year and a half to write this review.)

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. Mom was there for 4 weeks. Too many new employees and too many employees that don't care. Mom was there for rehab. She literally was in bed every hour of every day except PT until I asked for her to be helped to sit in a chair daily. Mom would go many hours with no one checking on her. Mom was not bathed on her regular schedule until it was brought to heir attention. The doctor sent over PPOC that was wrong. Phones are not answered once receptionist leaves for the day. Upon discharge not even helped out of facility by any employee. Mom was double assist and left unattended while in restroom. Weekend help was horrible. New social worker and director of admissions. Both nonresponsive to calls. Would NEVER return there.
