Most city locations are great. I feel Nashville is severely lacking. I have called several times to reschedule an appointment. Everytime I was transferred and hung up on. The only reason I even canceled the appointment was they called weeks before telling me it was canceled on their end and rescheduled. Only to get a call to verify my appointment on the day it originally was. I could no longer make it because I made other plans. Very disappointing location.

Pray you never have to deal with this VA Center over the phone. They will not call you back if you leave a message. The patient advocate Department doesn't even check their emails if you need referrals done they'll tell you they're doing them and then not send them to the hospitals. The Community Care Department will hang the phone up seconds after they put you on hold and the mental health department would rather see you become a death statistic than actually help you get treatment.

I don’t feel safe and an outer clinic and you all think it is a joke. Your social media coordinator refused to give me the HR mgt phone number or the directors number as I have witness harassment in the work place to make a report.

As a disabled veteran I could never recommend this VA as they allow harassment from front line supervisors to employees. Who would ever want to work there. Let alone seeing how bad the treatment is there. Stop the good ole boy system and hire better doctors not mid levels. You have a few but the good ole boy system attacks them.

I received exceptional care today in the dental clinic. I’m very thankful to be here and being cared for by TVHS VA. In 13 years of VA care, in four different states, I’ve not seen anything comparable. Thank you to all the staff that makes it happen every day!

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. My referral for rheumatology in community care was denied because these yahoos provide the “service”. My initial appointment was horrendous. I was referred for rheumatology because of lab results showing signs of autoimmune disease. But my rheumatologist here, I believe was trying to imply I’m on drugs or something because my symptoms include dry mouth and eyes. She was dismissive and completely unprofessional in my option. She ordered an x-ray and more labs, but to my knowledge no drug test. My X-ray showed issues and she ordered a CT scan. It’s been over 2.5 weeks since she ordered it and I still haven’t been called to schedule an appointment. I’ve called radiology 3 times and there’s never an answer. I’ve left voicemails with a call back number. Nothing. Where’s the “care” in healthcare.

Expect lack of
communication/miscommunication, lost information and the run around whether a patient or loved one of a patient. The nurses have been excellent during my loved ones stay, maybe the issue is at the top. This hospital could seriously use a better system of communication.

Enjoy the long weekend" as the VP would say lol. Hope you all enjoy your extra day of rest. We can go back in the ring next week, but all in good sport. Gentleman's. I'll try to not freak out too much when you calmy deny me medical care with a straight face and no real verbal or written justification as to why... I'll be reading over all the statutes of the appeals process for medical consultations etc the weekend while you're out at the BBQ's etc. Don't let your jaw drop too much when I catch your half truths ie Vets can only go to the community if they have a long wait or live to far. First of that is only two of the six criteria. Secondly the Doctor there at the VA doesn't seem the need to treat me at all or carry with my care for a condition I have already been diagnosed. I was already previously authorized community care for this condition in Arizona. Unfortunately at the time Dr Sapperstein's office had over 6 month waiting list. I'll be sure to bring this up with the Chief next week. I know you are trained to try and help us keep getting care mostly at the VA. However MANY of the Doctors are making this an impossible burden. Especially to a Veteran being routinely black balled from getting medical. But still olive juice xo

Denied ketamine therapy twice. Despite two forms of healthcare, I'm currently paying out of pocket to avoid becoming a statistic. Thanks VA!
