Dismas House is a great place for residents need a fresh start after incarceration. I found the location for someone needing their services. So I got to see the facility and interact with some of the counselors. I personally witnessed a couple of the counselors go over and beyond to help a resident having some issues. The facility is clean, well-run, and those who want to make a go of a new start have the foundation there to do that. I've been back a few times to donate men's clothing and food. Great resource.

The people at Dismas House-Nashville are very kind and welcoming and warm. They really care about the people who are residents there. They really enjoy helping people in countless capacities and they do it with a genuine smile on their faces.

For the past 5 months Dismas staff, the resources made available to me, and meeting with additional Board Members who oversee the operations at Dismas House has been a dynamic experience. I am so grateful that after serving 22 years in prison, not only was I able to overcome a variety of collateral consequences, I have been able to flourish in a manner not even I could imagine. It is my hope that as Dismas grows and becomes an integral part of the reentry process that I to can help change lives.

Shout out to all the staff, volunteers, and Board members who sacrifice their time in assisting men like myself in rebuilding our lives, reparing relationships and helping to guide us towards a better future. To the public, come and visit, donate, and see the transformation first hand.

Well I really swung by to get chopped by my big brother. But learning the place. It's beautiful and they actually help you and you kinda are able to live and find yourself. Other then like other half way houses that you want to run away r sneak off.

This is a half way house for convicted felons it is also a great part of the lives of the people who contributed by either donations and volunteer work to help men in need of returning to everyday life on the streets. This is in my opinion the most awesome house in Nashville TN I can personally thank Scott,Davey and Cynthia for all their support and efforts to making the Dimas house a home for men in need.
