I stayed at this facility for around four months and I was pleased with the care that they give the patients there. I’m a younger guy just going there for rehabilitation, but I did notice a lot of gestures by the towards seniors and myself by the staff. The physical therapy group is great nurse, Natasha is awesome. I would love to wake up and know I had her for the day. The food Could be better but overall this five stars compared to Competitors.

I am deeply disheartened and frustrated with the care my mother received under your facility's supervision. From the moment she was admitted, she expressed significant dissatisfaction, and it was clear that her needs were not adequately addressed. The level of neglect she experienced is unacceptable, and it breaks my heart to know that she passed away just a week after being placed in your care while in a critical condition.

She struggled to get the necessary medication when she required it and even waited an entire week just to receive a basic item like a trashcan. Despite needing a chair to assist her in getting out of bed, she remained trapped, unable to move independently from her bed. The environment was loud and uncomfortable, and her concerns were consistently ignored.

My mother was in the final stages of COPD, completely reliant on oxygen, yet she never received proper support for her breathing. She also had burns that required regular care, but these were grossly neglected. She confided in me that her wounds were only checked once, and the instruction she was supposed to receive on how to care for them never materialized.

I did not place my mother in your care, and had I been aware of the severe neglect and distress she was experiencing, I would have immediately removed her from your facility. The lack of attention and compassion she received in her final days is something I cannot forgive. I intend to pursue this matter further.

I received excellent care and attention from the staff during my residency. Their physical and occupational therapists are very devoted to helping patients strengthen and begin recovery, and their social workers use every resource possible to connect patients with the care they need during their stay and beyond.

My brother was transferred from Vanderbilt to here this afternoon after 3 o’clock. None of his medication‘s, etc. were sent with him and they have to have all orders to the pharmacy by three every day in order to have them for the patients that need them. Amy, the charge nurse for days was very helpful and getting us into his room and getting with the Nursing Supervisor Annette to work things out. She was still here on the phone two hours after her shift was over making sure that my brother would be able to get his medications. Since they were unable to get it, she is having him transferred back to Vanderbilt. Patients are not supposed to be transferred this late in the afternoon! Both of these ladies were so nice and definitely show that they care About their patients it’s good to see that there are Still some old-school nurses and good people left in this world.

"I want to bring attention to some issues at White's Creek Nursing Home. Several employees have been treating people poorly, displaying a lack of respect and care toward residents and their families. Additionally, there have been instances where, after a resident leaves, the staff fails to call in necessary medications, leaving individuals without crucial prescriptions post-rehabilitation. This delay is often met with indifference, and attempts to follow up are ignored, with calls going unanswered. It's deeply concerning to see a lack of accountability and communication in such an important area of care. This needs to change for the well-being of current and future residents."

I spent almost two years in this place. I wanted nothing more than to leave that place but the social worker said my only options were A; find another long term care facility or B; find a friend or relative to take me in and take care of me. That I'd also need to make arrangements for transporting myself from the facility to another place. Well, not only was this untrue but I was lied to. I asked about home health and Betty and Annette both said it wasn't enough care for my disabilities. Sometime in spring I was visited by a lady from the insurance company. She asked me why I was there, i expressed my disdain of the place and told her I was there because I had no other option to go anywhere else.

This is when she asked me about the CLS program. Basically they put you with a family who has experience handling people with disabilities. So I said sign me up!
Roll up to July 2024 I'm on my way out and to a home. Not only was I getting out of the place but was transported to the new place.
I was told the social worker probably wasn't aware of the CLS program but I find that highly unlikely considering she's been doing social services for 25+ years.
If you put a family member in here, make sure you let them know the options, because the facility doesn't give a damn other than keeping the place full of people with disabilities.

The exterior facade of this facility may be in need of some love, but the staff on the inside shine with it! From the front desk Wonder Woman to staff along the way guiding me to the person I had come to see, I was met with unusual kindness, helpfulness and care. Well, done ALL OF YOU. Your Spirit is amazing.
